Two more books in the African Memoir Series are soon to be published in Trade Paperback format.

Having grown up in Africa and then spent many years working all across the continent, Ian has a rich diversity of memories recorded in his many notebooks which now fuel his writing.

Both through his work and by being in the right place at the right time Ian has been fortunate enough to meet many prominent and extraordinary people and to share events that most of us would never have heard of or imagined. Some of these are odd or slightly quirky whilst others are so unusual to those not familiar with the dark continent as to be frightening and far beyond most people's imagination or cultural horizons. All of them are fascinating and the tales are told in a way that engages you, draws you in and shows hidden aspects of Africa that are seldom seen by outsiders.
